Dream Interpretation

Dreams, they occur when we fall asleep and our physical body goes to rest. As for our subconscious and spiritual body, they are both wide awake to receive messages that are turned into symbolic imagery. How does this happen? Do all dreams have significant meaning? Let’s explore the mysteries behind the subconscious mind.

Throughout our days, the events that take place stick with us. No matter how small or insignificant we may think they are, or if we think something isn’t  affecting us at all and that we’ve grown past it. In most cases we are simply ignoring it or pushing it aside, which in truth goes to our subconscious. Dreams can play on things from both our present and past, as well as give us signs or messages that will be relevant to our future. Symbolism inside of our dreams can be very difficult to interpret and may make no sense at all initially, this is why learning dream interpretation is so important and useful in daily life. You can learn this ability by simply keeping a dream journal, when you wake in the morning and begin to remember pieces of a dream, write them down. Repeat this every time you remember your dreams and eventually it will become easy to remember your dreams more vividly. From there, do research on key symbols or evens you have seen in your dream. Of course everyone interprets things a bit differently, though general ideas are typically the same. As you repeat this process and practice lining your dreams up with your reality, things will start making sense.

Not everything is how it seems in symbolism, so try not to take certain images too literally. For example, if someone dies in your dream or you witness an event of death in someway, it doesn’t automatically mean that someone in your real life is going to die. Death typically represents the completion or ending of something in your life. You may of just cut ties with a partner or friend, maybe you just lost your job or are starting a new job soon. It can even stretch out as far as yourself individually. If you witnessed death in your dream and have been making changes to yourself or your lifestyle, such as quitting a bad habit or giving up an addiction in real life, that death would represent the ending of whatever applies to your current reality.
Death may also simply represent a fear that is relevant in your life. Let’s say you dream of a best friend dying, maybe you two haven’t been talking as much recently or they’re moving away, you have a natural fear of losing that person and your subconscious will play on that heavily.
Interpretations will vary depending on the specific details of each individual’s dream, but you can narrow down these specifics for yourself with the use of a dream journal and lots of meditation.
